Jan. 15
Sinulog Festival Grand Parade
It is the culminating event of the 10-day festival in Cebu City in honor of Sto. Niño. The word “sinulog” means “like the flowing water” in Cebuano, which describes the movement of the Sinulog dance.
Jan. 20
Kaisa Festival
Article continues after this advertisementThis year marks the first celebration of the festival in Tarlac City, Tarlac province, with the theme “Pagdiriwang ng Diwa ng Pagkakaisa ng mga Tarlaqueño.”

Dinagyang Festival A dance festival in honor of the Sto. Niño in Iloilo City, Iloilo province, “dinagyang” is Hiligaynon for “merrymaking.” Tribes painted with soot dance in patterns, while using their spears, shields and the image of the Child Jesus.
