Sinulog Festival Grand Parade

It is the culminating event of the 10-day festival in Cebu City in honor of Sto. Niño. The word “sinulog” means “like the flowing water” in Cebuano, which describes the movement of the Sinulog dance.

Dinagyang Festival A dance festival in honor of the Sto. Niño in Iloilo City, Iloilo province, “dinagyang” is  Hiligaynon for “merrymaking.” Tribes painted with soot dance in patterns, while using their spears, shields and the image of the Child Jesus.
