TAGBILARAN CITY, Bohol—A magnitude 4.3 earthquake shook Bohol province on Saturday afternoon, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs).
The Phivolcs said the tremor occurred at 2:35 p.m. with the epicenter located at 19 km east of Cortes town.
Tagbilaran resident Jomari Galleros, 18, said he felt the quake.
“Nakurat ko paglinog (I was startled when it suddenly shook),” said Galleros.
He said he was playing a game in his computer when he felt something was pushing his computer.
Another Tagbilaran City resident said she felt she was being shook when the earthquake hit.
“No wonder I felt dizzy,” said Marisa Cartoneros, a resident of Loon town, Bohol.
The quake was also felt in Jagna town according to Fritz Galapin.
There was no immediate report of damage or injury from the quake.
