LPA to continue to bring rains over parts of Luzon, Visayas
A low pressure area that was formerly Tropical Depression Auring will continue to bring rains in parts of Luzon and the Visayas, the state weather bureau said midday Monday.
The weather disturbance will bring moderate to occasionally heavy rains and thunderstorms over Palawan, the Bicol region and Eastern Visayas, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said in its 11 a.m. advisory.
Flashfloods and landslides are possible in these areas.
The LPA was last spotted 225 kilometers west of Dipolog City in Zamboanga del Norte.
Light to moderate rains are expected over Metro Manila and the rest of Mimaropa, Calabarzon and the Visayas. CDG/rga
