Transmission lines and substations in Albay and Sorsogon that were damaged by typhoon Nina have resumed normal operation, the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) said Saturday.
NGCP said it is already operating under normal conditions following the energization of NGCP’s Naga-Daraga 230kV line at 6:51 a.m.
Earlier, NGCP has deployed around 500 personnel to repair the transmission lines damaged by the typhoon to achieve its target of restoring power by Dec. 31.

NGCP assured the public that it is working round the clock to restore all transmission lines and facilities in the Bicol region to ensure reliable power transmission services.
The corporation is also continuously taking necessary preparations and precautions to minimize the impact of succeeding typhoons and disasters on NGCP operations and facilities. CDG
