THE TOP-SEEDED Stream Blue Devils and the Convergys Wolves completed the semifinal cast after downing their lower-ranked quarterfinal foes last Saturday in the 2011 Powerade E-League for Basketball at the City Sports Club-Cebu Gym.
The Blue Devils dumped the Accenture Sharks, 84-54, while the Wolves clobbered the Eperformax Reds, 66-51.
The twin victories sealed a best-of-three semifinal battle that will feature the teams that finished in the top four after the eliminations.
The semis, which will start on Nov. 12, will have Stream going up against the defending champions Teletech Titans and Covergys taking on the Lexmark Stallions.
Dino Flores and Sylvester Millevo spearheaded Stream’s victory by scoring 17 points each, while Norbert Ampong and Louie Arroyo added 14 and 12, respectively.
Randy Bihag was the lone double-digit scorer for the Sharks with 15 points.
Joshua Ryan Yam topped the Wolves with 14 markers, while Emmanuel Auman contributed 12.
