DID YOU KNOW: Metro Manila Film Festival

The Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) is an annual film festival that began in 1975. It runs from Dec. 25 to the first weekend of January. The movie that won the award for  best film in the first MMFF  was Augusto Buenaventura’s “Diligin Mo ng Hamog ang Uhaw na Lupa.” This year marks the 42nd edition  of the film fest. —Marielle Medina, Inquirer Research
