Duterte to NPA rebels: Come down, spend Christmas with your families

This was the message of President Rodrigo Duterte to members of the New People’s Army (NPA) as he urged the rebels to celebrate Christmas Day with their families.

“I would like you to come down and visit your family on Christmas Day,” Duterte said during the 81st anniversary celebration of the Armed Forces of the Philippines at Camp Aguinaldo in Quezon City.

“Come down. You will not be arrested,” he said.
