LUCENA CITY – Police arrested two suspected drug pushers and another person using the illegal substance in this city on Saturday, police said Sunday.

Supt. Dennis de Leon, Lucena police chief, said anti-drug operatives led by Senior Insp. Rodolfo Borromeo nabbed Melvin Lambino, 38, a known drug trafficker in Barangay (village) 8 in a buy-bust at 3:30 p.m. Lawmen seized five small plastics of “shabu” weighing 3.85 grams worth P7,100, one small plastic of marijuana, digital weighing scale and drug paraphernalia.

Another anti-drug operation caught Joseph Merillo, 43, and Aristotle Arriola, 40, in a pot session inside Merillo’s house in the same village. Merillo was also tagged by police as a suspected drug peddler in the area.
