Chinese gaming tycoon Jack Lam has left the Philippines ahead of President Rodrigo Duterte’s order for his arrest.

Immigration spokesperson Atty. Maria Antonette Mangrobang said that based on their records,  Lam Yin Lok, Lam’s real name,  flew out of the country last Nov. 29.

“No record of arrival since,” Mangrobang said.

Last Saturday, Duterte ordered his arrest for economic sabotage.

Justice Secretary Vitaliano Aguirre II said economic sabotage is a continuing offense thus  the accused can be the subject of a warrantless arrest.

He added that Lam, owner of Fontana Resort, also violated Immigration Laws for coddling illegal aliens.
