The new head of the Philippine Coconuts Authority (PCA) has taken his oath of office in Malacañang.

Cabinet Secretary Leoncio Evasco Jr. administered the oath of office of PCA head Avelino “Billy” Andal on Monday during a simple ceremony.

Andal said he would address the problem of cocolisap infestation in Mindanao.
