Annual tribal fiesta of ethnic groups Manobo, Tiruray and T’boli in Isulan town, Sultan Kudarat province. Locals celebrate the town’s bountiful harvest and other milestones in street dances, trade fair and sports competitions.

Kabkaban Festival
A religious and cultural celebration in Carcar City in Cebu province. The city’s historical periods and industries are featured in parades and street dancing. The festival is named after a fern endemic in the city called “kaban-kaban,” which is used as an ornament and medicine by locals.

L’yurot Festival
The feast in Mabini town in Compostela Valley province, also known as “Mangiyan-ngiyan,” features the culinary expertise of the indigenous group Mansaka, whose food is mainly cooked in bamboo.
Sandurot Festival
The Visayan practice of “pakig-sandurot,” which means extending hospitality and friendship, is showcased in this festival in Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental province. Locals celebrate the hospitality of Dumaguete, known to welcome people of different race, religion and cultural beliefs.

Paru-paro Festival
The beautiful and vibrant colors of butterflies fill the streets of Dasmariñas City in Cavite province. Locals, including students, join in the singing and dancing in the parade and other festival activities.
