The Marcos family pushed through with the burial of former President Ferdinand Marcos at the Libingan ng mga Bayani (Heroes’ Cemetery) on Friday, a surprise move that was only revealed as his body was being flown in from Laoag.
A video shared by his daughter, Ilocos Norte Governor Imee Marcos, showed how the remains were brought to Libingan ng mga Bayani in Taguig and were given military honors.

Seen in the video are the former President’s wife, Ilocos Norte Representative Imelda Marcos, and children Imee and former senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.
