NAGA CITY — The inspection run of the Philippine National Railways (PNR) train pushed through early Friday morning, according to a PNR exec.
Jose Florece, Naga PNR station manager, said that the inspection run left Tutuban station at 5:13 a.m.
He said that as of 10:30 a.m., the train has already reached Sariaya town in Quezon province. He added that it is expected to reach Naga City late in the afternoon.
Florece said they will fetch the engineers on the railway bridge that connects the villages of Apali and Apad in Ragay town for them to continue the inspection of railways going to Naga City since that section of rail bridges is still undergoing repairs after it collapsed following a flash flood brought about by heavy rains which washed out one of its support foundations in March this year.
