CAUAYAN CITY — A 42-year-old man and his three-year-old son died in a Nov. 15 fire, which spread at 8:40 p.m. at their home in Tagaran village here.

The charred remains of Richard Gonzales and young Johannes were recovered after firemen put out the fire, said Chief Insp. Joanne Vallejo, Cauayan chief of the Bureau of Fire Protection.

The fire might have started when a liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) tank exploded, she said. A neighbor reported hearing a blast before the fire drew the attention of the community.  SFM
