Fire in QC kills 7-year-old boy, displaces 100 families

A 7-year-old boy was killed in a fire that razed 35 houses in Quezon City on Sunday afternoon.

The victim was identified as John Paul Villamor, a resident of Tuazon Boulevard in Barangay Tagumpay, Project 4.

According to the city fire department, the fire began at 3:20 p.m. in the victim’s house.

It reached the fifth alarm before it was put out at 7:10 p.m.  Villamor’s badly charred body was found at the third floor of their house afterward.

Around 100 families lost their houses during the fire which also destroyed around P500,000 worth of property.
