Hand grenades recovered from Bilibid
Members of the Special Action Force (SAF) recovered three hand grenades from the Maximum Security Compound of the New Bilibid Prison (NBP).
Bureau of Corrections (BuCor) Director Rolando Asuncion said the grenades were seized during a raid conducted early morning Tuesday.
The grenades were found inside the dorm occupied by members of the Sputnik Gang.
The SAF members continuously conduct raids inside the national penitentiary. Last week, they also recovered firearms inside the NBP hospital.
