The Court of Land Registration is established in 1902. It adjudicates, registers and guarantees the land titles in the Philippines.

In 1574, a royal cedula from the Spanish king prohibits the enslavement of Filipinos a day after Rajah Lakandula, King of Tondo, led a protest against the ill treatment by Spaniards.
Nov. 9
In 1937, Tagalog is recommended as the basis of the national language by the Institute of National Language (now Komisyon sa Wikang Filipino).
Nov. 11
Filipino revolutionaries, led by Emilio Aguinaldo, repulse Spanish forces in Kawit, Cavite, in 1896. Known as the Battle of Binakayan, it is considered
“one of the shining moments
of the Philippine struggle
for independence.”
