Tabal, Kitanui top successful One Thousand Cranes Run

/ 07:48 AM May 23, 2011

MARY JOY Tabal and Kenyan runner Josphat Kitanui emerged on top in yesterday’s One Thousand Cranes Run of ThreeSixty Pharmacy at the Asiatown IT Park.

It was sweet victory for Kitanui, who was left disappointed  in his last race here in Cebu. He topped the 15-kilometer men’s race after clocking 52 minutes and 25 seconds. He received in full his P10,000 prize.

He had a bad experience in last April’s 1st Cebu Fun Run of C/24 7. Kitanui won the 10k race but received only a fraction of the P7,000 cash prize that was promised.
