VACC founding chairman and president Dante Jimenez said they will extend assistance to the victim’s family to obtain justice.

“Mag-eextend kami ng assistance because in four month’s time po  first time in the history po namin ito nangyari sa VACC na dalawang member ng family pinatay heinously ng para umanong guns-for-hire. The police investigating should look deeper into this case,” Jimenez said.

“This is the first time in the history of VACC that two family members were killed heinously. The police investigators should look deeper in this case…That is why we will be coordinating closely with the police,” Jimenez said.

Petronio Jr. was shot by an unidentified gunman on Wednesday morning, while waiting for a ride home in Barangay San Antonio Village, Makati City. He was set to leave for abroad, and was reportedly in the Philippines to follow up on the investigation into Lauren’s killing. Lauren was shot dead inside a jeepney last July. CDG/rga
