/ 06:41 AM October 26, 2011

THE Department of Social Welfare and Development in Central Visayas (DSWD-7) is seeking the assistance of the public in locating the parents and relatives of an abandoned baby.

Baby girl Arellano was left by her 27-year-old mother, Chaterine Arellano, a day after giving birth last Sept. 3 at the Mandaue City Hospital.

Hospital records show that Chaterine is a resident of Hidden Homes, barangay Cabancalan, Mandaue City.

The DSWD-7 is requesting the parents and relatives of the baby to see social workers Suchiella Arong and Annalisa Gubalane at their office on M.J. Cuenco Avenue, Cebu City with contact number 233-8779.

Failure of the parties to appear or claim the child within one month will subject the child for abandonment.
