4 soldiers injured in Zamboanga City clash

ZAMBOANGA CITY—Four soldiers were injured when they clashed with armed men during a seaborne patrol off Sacol island here at 8:25 p.m. Tuesday, Colonel Buenaventura Pascual, Task Force Zamboanga chief said.

Firefight lasted for about 15 minutes when the enemies withdrew towards unknown direction, Pascual said.

The wounded soldiers were identified as Corporal Sacayan, Private First Class Tomo, Private First Class Sahibudin and Private First Class Biala.
