LIST: Class suspensions for Oct. 20, Thursday, due to ‘Lawin’

Various local government units have announced the suspension of classes for Thursday, Oct. 20, due to Supertyphoon “Lawin” (international name: Haima).

Lawin intensified into a supertyphoon on Wednesday afternoon. Signal No. 5 was raised in the provinces of Cagayan and Isabela, where it is expected to make landfall.

Classes in the following areas are suspended:

Isabela – all levels, public and private
Apayao – all levels, public and private
Mt. Province – all levels, public and private
Nueva Ecija – all levels, public and private
Batangas – all levels, public and private
San Fernando, La Union – all levels, public and private
Abra – all levels, public and private
Baguio – all levels, public and private
Benguet – all levels, public and private
Cagayan – all levels, public and private
Ilocos Norte – all levels, public and private
