Under Proclamation No. 493 signed on Oct. 29, 2003, by then President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, October was declared Cooperative Month. The Cooperative Development Authority located in Cubao, Quezon City, is tasked to oversee the celebration. —Marielle Medina, Inquirer Research
