BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya — A Cagayan barangay (village) leader in Iguig town survived a gun attack on Wednesday noon (Oct. 12).

Mario Tangaro, the Barangay San Isidro chairman and a member of the Iguig municipal council, was shot as he drove along the national highway in Barangay Minanga.

Tangaro was on his way home following a council session.  SFM
