Magnitude 4.6 quake hits Occidental Mindoro; felt in Metro

A magnitude 4.6 earthquake hit Occidental Mindoro on Wednesday morning, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs).

Phivolcs said the quake, which struck at 9:39 a.m., had a depth of 107 kilometers.

It was located 10 kilometers north or 38 degrees west of Abra de Ilog in Occidental Mindoro.

Intensity II was reported in Calatagan and Nasugbu in Batangas, Pasay City, and Malate and Sampaloc in Manila.
