Isabela teacher shot in the head, dumped

TUMAUINI, Isabela — The body of a 41-year-old school teacher was discovered on Monday evening (Oct. 10) along a village road with a bullet wound on her head.

Hyacinth Maxima Lugo might have been killed at 9:45 p.m., Supt. Narciso Paragas, Isabela police spokesperson, said.

Ruz Caronan, who was on her way home, found Lugo’s remains at the road shoulder along Amistad street in Barangay Uno here, shortly after hearing a gunshot and the sound of a motorcycle speeding away.  SFM
