Former actor wounded, pal shot dead in Pasig
A former actor was hospitalized for a gunshot wound while his male friend was shot dead Monday night in Pasig City. Senior Supt.
Orlando Yebra Jr., the city police chief, identified the wounded as John Wayne Sace, 27, and the slain victim as Erik Sabino, both residents of Feliciano Street, Sagad.
They were waiting for a friend near the corner of Dr. Sixto Antonio Avenue and Col. Licsi Street, Caniogan, around 11:10 p.m. when two men on a motorcycle approached and shot them.
Sace remained in the hospital as of Tuesday after being hit in the waist. Sabino, who took several hits to the body, was declared dead on arrival.
Yebra said the two men were on Sagad’s list of drug suspects.
Sace was an ABS-CBN talent who appeared in the 2011 series “Guns and Roses,” the 2011 indie movie “Pintakasi” and the 2002 film “Dekada ’70.”
