4 drug-linked men slain in Pasay, Parañaque
Four men were killed in separate shooting incidents in Pasay and Parañaque cities.
Romeo Joel Fontanilla, 37, was waiting for his live-in partner shortly before midnight Monday on Saint Mary Street, Maricaban, Pasay, when men on three motorcycles surrounded him and one of them shot him repeatedly.
In a report, PO3 Catalino Gazmen cited police records saying Fontanilla was a drug user who surrendered to authorities under Oplan Tokhang on July 21.
Also in Pasay, a man was found dead in a jeepney parking area in Barangay 146, near the corner of Edsa and Taft Avenue early Tuesday.
According to PO2 Christian Nero, a concerned citizen found the bullet-riddled body at Gisselle Park around 5 a.m.
The victim was known only to locals as Bong, a jeepney terminal barker and an alleged drug user, Nero said.
