TALAVERA, Nueva Ecija—The hogtied remains of a 58-year-old tricycle driver was found on Sunday morning at a vacant lot by a farmer.

The body of Eduardo Rodriguez was tightly bound. He was also blindfolded.

But the remains bore no signs of a gunshot wound, so Rodriguez may have been strangled to death, according to a police report. RAM/rga
