4 dead in Rizal buy-bust operations
SAN PEDRO CITY—Four suspected drug pushers were killed in a police buy-bust operations in Antipolo City and Cainta town in Rizal province, the police said Friday.
An emailed report from the Rizal police said the Cainta police targeted a certain Cris Samoy. It said Police Officer 2 Lorenzo Feliciano Jr. went undercover to buy a sachet of “shabu” from Samoy and two other people around 9 p.m. Thursday in Barangay (village) San Isidro.
When Feliciano announced that he was with the police, the suspects drew their guns and fired shots. The police in the area shot back and killed all three.
The police recovered nine sachets of suspected shabu and guns from the slain suspects, the report said.
At almost the same time in Antipolo City, police also killed drug suspect Edgar Loilo. The police report said the shoot-out took place around 9:20 p.m. in Barangay Cupang.
During the buy-bust, someone was heard shouting “pulis yan” (it’s the police) that prompted Loilo to shoot. The police retaliated, killing the suspect instantly.
