“Ano pong gusto nyo sa akin? May gusto po ba kayo sa akin?”
This was how Senator Leila de Lima shot back on Monday at President Rodrigo Duterte, whom she described as the “lowest” and the”vilest” man in the country.
“Basta ang sabi nga ninyo (As you have said), our President is again going ballistic,” De Lima told reporters when sought for comment on Duterte’s fresh attacks against her.
“Naawa na po ako sa ating Pangulo kaya patawarin na lang po sya ng mahal na Dyos sa kanyang mga pinagagawa (I pity our dear President and I hope our beloved God would forgive him for all he has done).”
“All of a sudden he’s no, for me, for me, he’s now he lowest and the vilest man in the country sa sobrang kabastusan na po nya (for his rudeness),” she said.
“That’s why God forgive him. Naawa na po ako sa inyo mahal na Pangulo, tigilan nyo na po ako (I pity you, our dear President, stop your attacks against me.) Ano pong gusto nyo sa akin? May gusto po ba kayo sa akin,” De Lima added. RAM/rga
