Mother, teen son shot dead in Rizal

A 31-year-old mother and his 17-year-old son were shot dead by unidentified suspects in Rodriguez, Rizal, on Monday evening.

In a report reaching Insp. Raquel Escobedo of the Rodriguez Police Station, Mary Grace Blando and son Rogie, residents of Cusa Street Barangay San Jose, were shot dead by unidentified suspects onboard a motorcycle.

The victims were sleeping inside their house when the suspects barged in and shot the victims. The suspects fled onboard their motorcycle.

A witness who heard gunshots rushed to the victims’ house and saw them lying bloodied on the floor. Responding policemen recovered seven sachets of suspected “shabu,” a bamboo jewelry box, a pair of scissors and a lighter.
