Three persons fall in Lapu-Lapu illegal drug busts

TWO women and a man were arrested by police in separate drug buy-bust operations in Lapu-Lapu City last Friday.

Elements of the police station 3 arrested Emelita Soriano, 45, who was allegedly caught selling shabu in barangay Canjulao shortly before 4 p.m.

Recovered from the woman were a small plastic of suspected shabu and the marked money.

A second buy-bust operation around 11 p.m. led to the arrest of Jemabel Alforque, 48, and Alex Torion.

Police said Alforque and Torion were arrested after they allegedly sold a pack of suspected shabu to a poseur buyer in barangay Buaya.

Members of the police station 5 recovered two small packets of suspected shabu and the P200 buy-bust money from Torion.

Charges will be filed against the three persons tomorrow, said police./CORRESPONDENT NORMAN V. MENDOZA
