A low pressure area will dump rains in parts of the country, the state weather bureau said midday Friday.
Moderate to occasionally heavy rains are expected over Zamboanga Peninsula, Caraga and the provinces of Dinagat, Eastern Samar and Palawan, which may trigger flashfloods and landslides, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said.
The weather disturbance was last tracked around Guiuan in Eastern Samar.
The rest of Eastern Visayas and the provinces of Bohol, Cebu and Negros will experience light to moderate rains. RAM/rga
