3 inmates escape from Bohol jail

TRINIDAD, Bohol — Three inmates at the Trinidad police station detention cell escaped on Sunday morning.

PO3 Geriper Cajes of Trinidad police identified the escapees as Adelfo Cosino, Reynaldo Sayson, and Jason Bayonas who are facing charges on illegal drugs.

According to Trinidad police, the prisoners were found missing on Sunday morning.

“They sawed the steel grail of the window at the back portion of the police station. The policemen on duty didn’t hear anything because of the heavy rains,” he added.

The police have alerted nearby police stations to help capture the three fugitives.
