At least 10 dead in Davao blast–Vice Mayor Duterte
DAVAO CITY — Vice Mayor Paolo Duterte said at least 10 people were killed when an explosion happened in the crowded night market on Roxas Avenue here Friday night.
The authorities have yet to determine the cause of the blast.
“Let us pray for the victims of this unfortunate incident, especially for those who died,” the vice mayor said in a statement.
“Let us pray for those who are being treated in different hospitals and pray for their quick recovery,” he added.
Duterte said at least 10 people died in the blast.
“Rest assured the authorities are on top of this incident,” he said.
