The tail boom of the civilian helicopter that went missing near Quezon had been found by the Philippine Air Force, the military said on Tuesday.

Air Force spokesperson Col. Araus Robert Musico said a Sokol chopper spotted the plane debris at Sitio Tambo in Barangay (village) Umiray, General Nakar, past 4 p.m.

The Air Force team could not immediately land on the vicinity of the crash because there was no landing area.
