Performer Mocha Uson on Friday visited senior citizens at a home for the aged in Quezon City, an activity organized by the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).
DSWD took to social media to share updates of Uson’s visit to GRACES Home for the Elderly in Bago Bantay, which houses 275 elderly persons.
In the photos, Uson was seen handing red roses to the elderly and talking to social workers.
Uson, a campaigner and vocal supporter of President Rodrigo Duterte, earlier said she was tapped by DSWD to help in attracting more volunteers as it sought to address the problem of abandoned senior citizens and children.
She was rumored to have been hired as social media consultant of the Bureau of Customs, but later denied the reports. YG/RAM
