Former town councilor shot dead in Isabela

ANGADANAN, Isabela — A former Angadanan town councilor was shot dead by motorcycle-riding gunmen on Monday morning (Aug. 15) in front of a private school in Alicia town.

Rommel Go, son of incumbent Councilor Maritz Go, was shot 10 times as he was about to board his car, after driving his children to school. Police have not yet found leads to explain why he was attacked.

Vice Mayor Diosdado Siquian said Go served as town councilor from 2013 to June 30 this year.  SFM
