Suspected ‘salvage’ victim found in QC

MANILA, Philippines – A suspected victim of summary execution was found in Quezon City Friday morning, a 990AM report said.

The body of an unidentified man estimated to be around 40 to 45 years old and 5’4” in height was found along Sampaguita Street in Barangay (village) Pasong Putik in Fairview, Quezon City.

The report quoted Inspector Elena Mediena of the Quezon City Police District’s Scene of the Crime Operatives as saying that they received a call from village officials at around 6 a.m., informing them that a body was dumped in their area.

The victim wore no clothes and was bruised all over, the report said. Two nails were driven into the victim’s head which was wrapped with a garbage bag.

The report said that the victim had tattoos of a woman named “May” and the “Bahala na Gang” on his body.
