Alleged drug pusher killed in Albay buy-bust
LEGAZPI CITY, Philippines—A suspected drug pusher was killed in Camalig town in Albay province after resisting arrest during a drug buy-bust operation, police said Friday.
Senior Inspector Maria Luisa Calubaquib, Bicol police information officer, said alleged drug pusher Emerson Llanza Jr. alias Kulot, 29, resident of Daraga town, also in Albay, was killed in a buy bust operation in Barangay (village) Del Rosario at 10:45 p.m. Thursday.
Calubaquib said Llanaza fired at policemen when he realized it was a police operation, prompting police to fire back. Llanaza died while being transported to the hospital. RAM
