A Hungarian national was arrested at Bonifacio Global City (BGC) after he was caught opening a bank’s automated teller machine and inserting a device on Tuesday night.

Robert Pap, from Budapest, was arrested by the Taguig police around 9:30 p.m. at the Bonifacio High Street branch of Bank of Commerce in BGC, Fort Bonifacio.

A closed-circuit television camera caught him inserting a green device suspected to be an ATM card skimmer, prompting a bank security guard to call the police. Pap was  arrested by responding officers from the Taguig Police Community Precinct 7.
