Today, Aug 11, is the 31st death anniversary of National Artist for Cinema Manuel Conde. Born on Oct. 9, 1915, Conde’s major works included Ibong Adarna (1941), Si Juan Tamad (1947), Genghis Khan (1950), and Juan Tamad goes to Congress (1959).
