SOME local government units on Tuesday night announced class suspensions in their areas on Wednesday, August 10, due to monsoon rains affecting Luzon and Western Visayas.
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said monsoon rains will be experienced over Metro Manila, Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR), CALABARZON and the provinces of Zambales, Bataan, Mindoro and Palawan.

- Pateros — All levels

- Marikina City — All levels
- Pasay City — All levels
- Parañaque City — All levels
- Manila City — All levels, public and private
- Quezon City — Pre-school to Senior High School, public and private
