Suspected drug pusher killed in Bohol

TAGBILARAN CITY, Bohol—A suspected drug pusher was killed after engaging policemen in a firefight during a buy-bust operation in Barangay (village) Taloto in this city early Friday morning.
Femie Felix Pajo III, a resident of Barangay Mansasa in this city, was shot dead by operatives of the Provincial Public Safety Company (PPSC)-Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT).
PO2 Jose Felicisimo Rebosura of PPSC-SWAT said Pajo was under surveillance for two weeks after their office received reports of his alleged involvement in illegal drugs trade. A composite team from PPSC-SWAT was organized to conduct the buy-bust against Pajo.
About 4:30 a.m. on Friday, Rebosura said an undercover policeman and Pajo agreed to hold the transaction along CPG North Avenue in this city, but Pajo changed his mind and asked that the purchase be done at a remote area on Baguio Drive going to Integrated Bus Terminal.
When Pajo noticed that he was dealing with a policeman, he took out his caliber .357 revolver to shoot the poseur buyer.
Pajo allegedly fired at the operatives but no one was hit. One of the PPSC-SWAT personnel fired back, hitting the suspect in the abdomen and face, killing him on the spot.
Police recovered P1,000 in marked money, three big sachets and medium-sized sachet of suspected shabu (methamphetamine) with an estimated value of P80,000 and drug paraphernalia from the suspect./rga
