CLARIN, Bohol – An alleged drug pusher, who was also an alleged gun-for-hire, was gunned down here on Tuesday morning.
The Clarin Police Station identified the victim as Epefanio Siaboc Camangyan, alias Albert, 38, married and a resident of Barangay (village) Nahawan, in this town.
SPO1 Elenita Aparicio said Camangyan was listed as “Top 6 drug personality” involved in the illegal drug trade in the town, and was also an alleged member of a gun-for-hire group.
Aparicio said Camangyan was riding his motorcycle around 11 a.m. on Tuesday along the national highway of Barangay Candajec, Clarin, when two men riding in tandem shot him.
The driver was wearing ski mask while the backrider was wearing baseball cap and sunglasses.
Camangyan fell from the motorcycle after he was hit in the head.
“Camangyan sustained three gunshot wounds in the head and at the back,” said Aparicio.
The suspects quickly fled the scene after shooting, heading for Inabanga town.
“As per records on file, victim did not surrender to the police authorities despite of the relentless and vigorous implementation of Oplan Tokhang,” said Aparicio. CDG rga
