Ex-cop linked to drugs killed by fellow policemen in Bataan

BALANGA CITY, Bataan — A former police officer died in a shootout Wednesday (July 27), with the Bataan policemen who tried to serve a search warrant on him.

Alpasel Sulaiman Hamsa, a former Police Officer 1 who had been classified as a drug suspect, was slain in a gunfight he allegedly started when he fired at arresting policemen at 4:30 p.m., said Insp. Jennifer Cruz, spokesperson of the Bataan Police Office.  SFM
