Man shot dead in Quezon City
MANILA, Philippines—A man was shot and killed along Congressional Avenue in Quezon City Thursday, police said.
The victim was shot near Cherry Foodarama in Barangay Bahay Toro at around 12:45 p.m., said Police Officer 3 Andres Calbay.
He was rushed to the Philippine General Hospital but died, said Calbay.
No other details were available but Calbay said that the case has been turned over to the Quezon City Police District’s Criminal Investigation and Detection Unit.
