Abra cop kills drug suspect who ‘fired’ at authorities

BAGUIO CITY– A policeman shot dead a drug suspect in Abra province’s La Paz town on Wednesday afternoon (July 13), the Cordillera police said.

Napoleon Gamer reportedly fired at a policeman and village leaders who were conducting a house-to-house anti-drug campaign at 5:35 p.m. in Malabbaga village.

Gamer was killed in the firefight. The La Paz police are investigating the killing of the suspect. SFM/rga
