The oathtaking ceremony was held after Duterte called a Cabinet meeting following the ruling of the United Nation’s arbitration court favoring the Philippines’ case against China over the South China Sea.

Last week, Duterte announced Robredo as part of his Cabinet after several days of having reservations on appointing her.

Robredo has vowed to address the housing backlog in the agency.
